My father Needs Your Prayers – Tinubu’s Daughter To Nigerians

Mrs. Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, daughter of President-elect Bola Tinubu, has encouraged Nigerians to support and pray for her father in order for him to effectively lead the nation.

Tinubu-Ojo made the remarks during the 28th annual Ramadan Lecture and Special Prayer for the Nation, hosted on Saturday in Abuja by the Ansar-ud-Deen Society of Nigeria (ADSN).

“I call on Nigerians to pray and support our president-elect to make him succeed in making Nigeria the best for all. He cannot do it alone and Nigerians must support him, even after the elections,” Tinubu-Ojo said.

Speaking on the topic of the lecture, Sheikh Muhydeen Ajani Bello, Chairman of ADSN, warned against frivolity and wastefulness and asked for assistance for the destitute in order to promote social and national growth and well-being.

“Those at the helm of affairs must help the needy and those also not at the leadership positions must also help the needy to engender societal and national development,” Bello said.

According to the prominent Islamic scholar, Prophet Muhammad stated, “We should help the needy even if the person asking for help was riding on a horse and you are walking.”

Earlier, the society’s Abuja branch chairman, Alhaji Mohammed Kabir Olayiwola, said that aiding the underprivileged should not be limited to the month of Ramadan.
