Chizzy, whose real name is Michael Amoako, shot his wife Yaa Gyamfuaa while she was sleeping and then took his own life. Now, Chizzy’s brother Issac has come forward with some shocking information.
In an interview with SOMPA FM, Issac revealed that Chizzy knew that his wife was cheating on him. Before they moved to the US in 2000, Gyamfuaa was caught in a pub with ex-Black Stars player Emmanuel Duah. Despite warnings from family and friends, Chizzy went ahead and married his wife and took her with him to the US.
Once they were in the US, the wife continued her promiscuous ways and had relationships with multiple men. Chizzy caught her on several occasions, but she always denied cheating.
Eventually, Chizzy divorced her, but her mother pleaded with him to take her back for the sake of their children. According to Issac, Chizzy suffered greatly because of Gyamfuaa’s infidelity. The final straw was when she confessed to him that she had secretly married Emmanuel Duah and was planning to bring him to the US to join her.
Emmanuel Duah has denied having an affair with Yaa Gyamfuaa, despite Chizzy mentioning his name in his last WhatsApp audio message.
