Mother cried uncontrollably after donating one of her kidneys to her son who died three days after the transplant.

During an exclusive interview with Okay FM, Madam Janet Donkor couldn’t hold back her tears. Her beloved son died three days after she donated one of her own kidneys to him, according to her.

” For 11 years, my son was on dialysis. We later begged the public for help in obtaining a kidney transplant for him. “After gathering the funds, all that remained was for someone to donate a kidney to my son,” Madam Janet Donkor said, her eyes welling up with tears.

“Like a caring mother, I instructed them to take one of my kidneys for him. The operation was a success. Unfortunately, I was informed on the third day that the donated kidney had failed again, so they would have to go and cut it out and place him on dialysis again, “Janet Donkor added.

“I sobbed uncontrollably and begged God to tell me what we had done to deserve this punishment.” Before we got this far, we begged the public for help. We’re back to square one now. Regrettably, he died in the process.” Madam Janet Donkor was inconsolable in the studio at the time.

The host is a kidney transplant survivor.

Ashley, who went by the name Abigail, attempted to console her.

” How do you feel now that you’ve given one of your kidneys to your son? ” Abigail Ashley asked a question.

” I’m feeling fine. I go about my business as usual. “I just feel sad and cry when I think about my son not being able to survive,” Janet Donkor replied.

The host gave the woman an undisclosed sum of money to help her.

We can’t pay for the loss, but please take this away from us. “Console yourself, for God knows best,” Abigail Ashley said as she handed the money to Madam Janet Donkor.
