After their mother and father abandoned them and departed the little room where they resided in the village, the two young boys gained popular compassion.
Lucky Udu, a well-known Nigerian video maker who visited the children in Ogun State and raised awareness about their plight, documented this heartbreaking incident.
Lucky learned from neighbors that the children’s mother, whose identity is unknown, was in her early twenties and abandoned them three months ago.
Neighbors reported that the woman showed little or no concern for the children when she was present.
They claimed to have cared for the children for several days after they were unable to locate their mother.
According to one of the neighbors, the children appeared to have separate fathers, but nothing was revealed regarding their father’s whereabouts.
Fortunately for the children, Lucky was able to place them in an orphanage and enroll them in school. However, assistance is still required to support the youngsters, ages seven and three.
