Money No Dey But You Are Chilling In Kwahu – Afia Pokua To Ghanaians
Afia Pokua, commonly known as Vim Lady, a popular media personality, recently turned to social media to express her amazement that many Ghanaians had traveled to Kwahu for the Easter holidays.
The renowned Eastern Region holiday location is recognized for its beautiful surroundings, fascinating activities, and active nightlife. However, given Ghana’s present economic situation, Afia Pokua questioned how Ghanaians could afford such a lavish holiday.
In a playful Facebook post, the media celebrity wrote:
“Eiiii Ghanaians, “no money”, “no money” but see the chilling you are chilling in Kwahu
The message rapidly went viral, with many Ghanaians leaving comments to express their ideas and experiences.
Afia Pokua noted in the comments section that people relaxing and living luxuriously made it difficult for authorities to take the country’s difficulties seriously.

Many social media users told the writer that, despite the present economic troubles, they would continue to come to Kwahu in droves for the Easter celebrations, claiming that they deserved to have fun regardless of the economic difficulties. From paragliding and hiking to concerts and partying, Kwahu has something for everyone. And for many Ghanaians, the opportunity to get away from the stress and bustle of city life and spend time with loved ones was invaluable.
