A woman who looks a lot like Mercy Johnson has come forward to say that she is the famous Nigerian actress’s biological mother. This is a big surprise to many people who have followed Mercy’s career.
The woman says that she got married to a man from Kogi state in Nigeria and had three children with him. When she was pregnant with her fourth child, her mother came from Cameroon to tell her that her father was very sick and wanted to see his grandchildren before he died.
Her husband told her to take the youngest child and go to Cameroon to see her father. She left Mercy and her older brother Martin Ngei with their father and another woman. She has been trying to find her children for over 30 years, but she has not been successful.
The woman says that she finally found Mercy and asked for a DNA test to prove that she is her mother. Mercy’s husband agreed to pay for the test, but he said that she had to pay for her own travel expenses and other costs.
The woman says that she is not interested in Mercy’s money. She just wants to be reunited with her children after all these years. She says that Mercy’s birth name is Ngei Magdalene and that she was born in 1982.
The woman says that Mercy invited her to come to Nigeria, but she has no place to stay and no money to support herself. She is hoping that Mercy will help her in some way so that she can finally be reunited with her children.
