Elizabeth Amoaa, a lovely Ghanaian lady, was proven to have two wombs, two cervixes, and two vaginal tubes when she was born.
She was born with a uterine deformity, which occurs when the embryogenetic union of the Müllerian ducts fails and the uterus appears as a paired organ.
As a result, there is a double uterus with two distinct cervixes, as well as a possible double vagina.
For someone born with the illness, life problems can be unanticipated, but she sees them as an opportunity to grow.
Miss Amoaa, also known as Special Lady, is a Women Reproductive Health Advocate who first came out in 2017 to tell her story as a lady born with uterus didelphys, a rare congenital malformation of the womb.
She became the first black African lady to have her predicament featured in headlines in over 100 nations around the world as a result of the tale.
Her uncertain health experience inspired her to start Special lady Awareness, a charity dedicated to spreading awareness of gynecological problems, reducing menstruation problems, and battling gender bias in healthcare.
Her ambition prior to her advocacy work was to become a lawyer. As a result, she earned both a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom.
Birmingham City Council, British Army Welfare Services, Santander Banking Group, Eurostar, NatWest Bank, and others were among her employers.
However, she chose to forego her professional opportunities in order to become a spokesperson for women and young girls who are dealing with reproductive health difficulties.
Since its inception in 2017, her nonprofit, Speciallady Awareness, has successfully provided sanitary goods and medical supplies worth thousands of pounds.
