A Rastafarian has expressed concern about the country’s rising marijuana prices.
According to the man, marijuana is a more expensive product than cocoa, and if legalized, the country will profit billions.
“Something is going on in the country, and I’m not happy.” The budget has had an impact on the price of weed since individuals bringing the herbs from the village are terrified of being caught, so if it arrives to Accra, the price would undoubtedly rise.
“We have left the government to import cigarettes into the country that can cause tuberculosis and the weed that God created, and today the police will arrest for the cannabis… So it’s important than the cocoa we export…”
Another rastaman confirmed that the price of marijuana had risen as a result of the increase in transportation costs.
“Wee is something that brings in more money than any other product, but we don’t know why the government will jail individuals for it,” he explained.
