Man challenges Dr. Osei Kwame Despite as new Bugatti arrives in Ghana (Photo)
A photo of another expensive vehicle from French automaker Bugatti that has allegedly arrived on the shores of Ghana has elicited massive reactions.
This comes after Dr. Osei Kwame Despite, a Ghanaian millionaire, spoiled himself earlier this month with the 2022 Bugatti Chiron Super Sport to commemorate his 60th birthday.
At the current exchange rate of 24,518,250 Ghana cedis, the vehicle has a starting price of $3,825,000.
The newly arrived vehicle has been identified as a regular Bugatti Veyron 16.4. Only 252 Veyrons were ever produced between 2005 and 2011.
The starting price for this Bugatti Veyron model is $1 million (GHS7,388,267).
GHPage is unable to confirm whether this photograph was taken at a Ghanaian port, as claimed.
Take a look at the image below.
The image of the car was posted on Twitter in a now-deleted post by a young man who questioned the government about the revenue generated by imports at Ghana’s ports.
His inquiry was intended to minimize the government’s insistence on passing the Electronic Transaction Level (E-Level), which has been widely rejected by Ghanaians.
Take a look at some Twitter reactions below.
Mr. Frimps said: “Our harbor is being sold by the previous Government, we don’t have full control over our Airport. It was sold to one tycoon Frenchman called Vincent Balloré.”
