“Let Kidi do a live video if he is not sick”- Netizens tell Richie
The management of Ghanaian musician Dennis Nana Dwamena, better known by his stage name KiDi, refuted rumors that the artist was suffering from a stroke late yesterday.
Once some fans took notice of a statement he made regarding his health in February, rumors that the Lynx Entertainment signee was suffering from a terminal illness started to circulate.
KiDi disclosed in a post on February 24 that his present health wouldn’t allow him to continue with his “Golden Boy” North American tour, thus it has been postponed. His fans will be informed of the new dates very soon.
Richie Mensah, the CEO of Lynx Entertainment, debunked the rumors going around about KiDi’s health in a brief statement.
He claims that the rumors are false and has advised the musician’s supporters and fans to disregard the quickly spreading rumors.
Although Richie’s tweet seems to have put many people at ease, it seems that some individuals still think there is more going on than the well-known music producer is letting on.
Instead of allowing Richie, who is not the ‘Touch It’ hitmaker’s spokesperson, to speak on his behalf as has been suggested by some social media users, the management of KiDi should just let the musician to go live on any of his social media channels and clear the air.
Here are some viewpoints from Ghanaians who are adamant that KiDi is actually ill;
