Kwaku Manu, an actor, has joined the chorus of disgruntled and outraged Ghanaians who have harshly criticized Dr. Bawumia for saying he will pick the Ghana card above 1,000 interchanges.
Yesterday morning, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia announced that in the country’s pursuit for growth, he preferred the Ghana card to road interchanges.
The national identity card, commonly known as the Ghana Card, is deemed to be more advantageous than the multiple interchanges built throughout the nation by the Chairman of the Economic Management Team.
“We have implemented a national identification system and today we have 16 million Ghanaians with unique identities and that is a major transformation. And sometimes a lot of people don’t even appreciate what the impact of the Ghana Card is.
“But if you gave me 1,000 interchanges and a Ghana Card, I will choose the Ghana Card because it is more impactful,”
Due to Dr. Bawumia’s remarks, Kwaku Manu was compelled to openly denounce Dr. Bawumia for using illogical language.
Kwaku Manu asserts that Dr. Bawumia’s remarks make no sense and that, despite being a man of considerable education, he still finds it difficult to understand why he openly preferred Ghana card over 1000 road interchanges.
Dr. Bawumia was tasked by Kwaku Manu to convince Ghanaians of the superiority of the Ghana card over development initiatives.
