KNUST final year student identified as Emmanuel Awua a Geological Engineering Student has been arrested for murdering his friend who owed him GHC1200.
according to reports sighted on UTV, Emmanuel Awua who is 23 years old with the help of another friend killed 24-year-old Thomas Kwame Danso an Uber driver who owed him GHC1200.
according to the Police, Emmanuel Awua claimed his friend Thomas Kwame Danso has failed to pay him his money and has been tossing him whenever he calls him for the money.
with that Emmanuel managed to get hold of Thomas and with the help of another friend they killed Thomas and dumped his lifeless body in a bush.
from reports, the incident happened at Atwiman Nwabiagya in the Ashanti Region, they then drove the car to Nyinehini so people do not notice. but they are all from Tafo.
Emmanuel Awua is currently in the police custody and will be arranged to face court as soon as possible.
