“Kennedy Agyapong’s $15 million defamation suit against Kevin Taylor is useless” – Kumchacha claims
Prophet Nicholas Osei, also known as Prophet Kumchacha, a popular Ghanaian preacher, has stated that Ghanaian lawmaker Kennedy Ohene Agyapong’s legal action against social commentator Kevin Ekow Baidoo Taylor is futile.
In a Virginia State Court, the Member of Parliament for Assin Central has filed a defamation suit against an American-based National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporter, seeking $15 million in damages.
This came after Kevin, the CEO of Loudsilence Media, claimed in a widely circulated video that Kennedy had suffered a mild stroke and was airlifted to the United States for emergency brain surgery.
Following that, Mr. Agyapong shared photos and videos to refute the claims.
Kumachacha, who believes the lawmaker’s lawsuit against Kevin Taylor will be fruitless, has advised him to abandon his legal pursuit of justice.
The suit is a waste of time and money, according to the Founder and Leader of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, because Kennedy Agyapong is one of Ghana’s worst denigrators.
“I love Kennedy Agyapong but left to me alone I think his suit against Kevin Taylor is not relevant,” he said on Oman Channel. “It is waste of time and money. Kennedy Agyapong himself has defamed a lot of people in this country so what again?”
Kevin Taylor, he added, is a person who tarnishes people’s reputations for attention and must not be tolerated.
“He (Kevin Taylor) wants to have issues with everyone so if I say it is not worth it, I mean to say Kennedy Agyapong should not tolerate him. We know Kennedy to be magnanimous and I would prefer he uses the money for charity instead of fighting him,” he stated.
