Jackie Appiah Struggles To Speak Twi In New Video; Narrates How Her Mother Shared Her Clothes To Area Boys
Jackie Appiah, a Ghanaian actress, told a hilarious story about her mother giving away her boutique clothes to some guys in her neighborhood.
Many people were surprised when she told the story in Twi because they were not used to hearing the actress speak in the Ghanaian language and reacted to her funny accent.
Jackie stated that she was driving home from town one day when she noticed drivers at a nearby taxi rank waving and cheering her on, which perplexed her.
As she drove home one day, she noticed a taxi driver wearing one of her suits, which made her wonder if he shopped at her boutique.
Jackie claims that when she returned home and told her mother about her observations, she was told:
Oh I gave out some of the clothes in the boutique to the boys and even some church member
Jackie made a funny face, expressing how surprised she was by her mother’s actions. She realized why the taxi drivers were so enamored with her.
She said it was fine because it was a charitable act. The story made people laugh, and her Twi accent added to the hilarity.
