Bechem: Twene Jonas’s hometown chiefs curse him with libation and animal sacrifice to die before the year ends.
Twene Jonas and Oheneba David were cursed by the Bechem Traditional Council for offending them and Otumfuo Osei Tutu, so they sacrificed a goat and poured libation on them.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu and the traditional chief in Bechem are said to have been humiliated by the two gentlemen.
Twene Jonas, on the other hand, clarified that he did not insult Otumfuo Osei Tutu, but rather praised him for speaking the truth about galamsey activities in a recent interview.
Any chief who is engaged in Galamsey or has given their lands away for Galamsey activities, according to Twene Jonas, is dumb and a big fool.
He also said that he does not believe in superstition, implying that the curses will not affect him.
The Bechem Traditional Council has cursed Twene Jonas and another man named Oheneba David in a new video.
The gods of Bechem, they say, can deal ruthlessly with those thugs.
