“It was wrong for Francisca to reject Dubai trip because her friends were not invited” -Fred Kyei
According to Fred Kyei Mensah, he understands Francisca’s desire to show her love to her friends, but she should be pragmatic in some of her actions because life continues after the NMSQ 2021.
Fred explained that refusing the offer is a mistake on her part, even though it is her decision. She wasn’t originally part of the winners’ package, but her outstanding performance at the NSMQ earned her that honor.
Instead of flatly rejecting the offer, Francisca Lamini could have accepted it and lobbied for alternatives for her teammates.
He quizzed: “I have a few questions for her.
1) Will she turn down an offer to the medical school if her colleagues don’t make it?
2)Will she reject a scholarship because she is in solidarity with her colleagues and expect them to enjoy same”
Meanwhile, the trip is being sponsored by Adansi Travels and Kenya Airways as part of their efforts to support the brilliant lady in the 2021 NSMQ.
In an interview with TV3, Francisca Lamini, who is excited about the upcoming trip, expressed concerns about being lonely and sad in Dubai because her friends, with whom she entered the competition, will be absent.
