Ghanaian Gospel musician, Nacee, recently appeared on the Delay Show where he shared his experience in finding love and making it in the music industry. Here are some highlights from his interview:
Nacee revealed that before he met his beautiful wife, her mother was his savior. She liked him for his contributions in the Church and would even give him meat pies and GHS1.00 every Sunday.
Nacee and his wife were both in the Church choir together, but it took him three years to win her over. She wanted to make sure beforehand, and he patiently pursued her until she finally accepted his proposal.
In addition to his love life, Nacee also shared some of his struggles before he found fame. He revealed that he slept in a veranda at a place called Zongo Junction in Accra for some years before finding a place at ICC Church.
Despite his difficult journey, Nacee has produced some of the biggest hits in Ghana, including Piesie Esther’s “Waye Me Yie” which won Gospel song of the year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Award (VGMA).
