Ghanaian artist, Deborah Vanessa, also known as Sister Derby, has faced a significant amount of backlash after criticizing a restaurant for serving tasteless Jollof.
Sister Derby expressed her disappointment with the Jollof she received from a restaurant she usually frequents.
Some fans took the opportunity to voice their opinions on her music, stating that they feel the same way about her songs.
Despite this, Sister Derby recently shared that she enjoys working on music with Medikal. During an appearance on the ‘If More Let’s Divide’ podcast in April 2023, she explained that their successful collaborations stem from their shared vibe and admiration for each other’s talents.
The two artists recently released a single titled ‘Cold & Trophies from Medikal’s upcoming album ‘Planning & Plotting’.
Despite their past romantic relationship and subsequent breakup, Sister Derby maintains that there is no animosity between them.
