“It is not too late to tell Ghanaians you are sorry, $1 is almost 8 cedis”- Bridget Otoo Tells Nana Addo
Bridget Otoo has asked President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to apologize to Ghanaians for the cedi’s instability.
Akufo-Addo criticizes the previous government’s economic handling in a video broadcast on Twitter by Joy 99.7 FM and promises to do better if elected.
In the video, Akufo Addo says, “If I were them [Mills and @JDMahama], I’d apologize to Ghanaians for our bad work and go think about ourselves.”
Bridget Otoo wrote on Twitter, “It’s not too late for @NAkufoAddo to apologize to Ghanaians.”

In terms of the dollar, the Ghana cedi is worth GH7.94, while the pound is worth GH10.17.
The Euro is now trading at GH8.33 and GH8.53 respectively.
In the meantime, the government has been encouraged to keep the cedi stable in relation to other major trade currencies.
