Inaki Williams will be unstoppable if he scores his first Black Stars goal – Asamoah Gyan
Former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan believes that if Inaki Williams gets his first goal for the Black Stars, he would be unstoppable.
According to him, the Athletic Bilbao striker is underperforming for the national team because he is having to acclimate to the African game after spending his whole career in Europe.
“It’s difficult for him to adjust to the African game because he’s spent his entire life playing in Europe.”
“We need to give him more opportunities; he’s improving even though he hasn’t found his feet yet,” Asamoah Gyan remarked in an interview with Akoma FM.
“His first goal will boost his confidence level,” the Ghana icon continued. Let us continue to support him.”
Inaki Williams played for Ghana in the qualifications for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) against Angola on Thursday.
He might return to the starting lineup for the Black Stars in the next match on Monday, March 27 in Luanda.
