Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, also known as Dampare, is a Ghanaian cop. He is the Ghana Police Service’s current Inspector General of Police.
Dr. George Akuffo Dampare is a chartered accountant as well. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo appointed him as the acting Inspector General of Police of the Ghana Police Service on July 21, 2021, with effect from August 1, 2021.
He is known for being the 4th Republic’s youngest Acting Inspector General of Police. He is the 23rd Inspector General of Police in Ghana’s history.
