IGP Dampare Arrests Sekondi-Takoradi MCE And Dragged Him To Court For Insulting A Police Officer

Following the arrest of Sekondi-Takoradi MCE for assaulting a police offer, Ghana’s newly installed IGP, Dampare, has gained the respect of Ghanaians once more.

Abdul Mumuni Issa, MCE of Sekondi-Takoradi, was captured on camera criticizing a police officer who refused to let him circumvent a checkpoint queue.

The MCE attempted to bribe the police officer at first, but his reluctance to accept the cash and enable him to bypass the long line at the checkpoint enraged him.

Mr Abdul Mumuni Issa was overheard cursing and threatening the police officer, threatening to terminate him from his position.

The police did not respond with a clap back, but informed the MCE that he would have him jailed.

Following that, the MCE was arrested and dragged to court for assaulting a police officer, according to a police statement.
