Akumaa Mama Zimbi, a Ghanaian TV show host, has highlighted why couples should not spend money on one another.
Speaking to Berla Mundi on TV3’s Day Show, Akumaa Mama Zimbi claimed that only married people must spend money on one another, not those who are dating.
People in relationships, she believes, should not spend money on one another unless on exceptional occasions such as birthdays.
Akumaa also urged ladies not to sit on the bed if their partners’ rooms did not have chairs.
Dr. Joyce Akumaa Dongotey-Padi, commonly known professionally as Akumaa Mama Zimbi, is a Ghanaian television and radio broadcast journalist, women’s rights activist, blogger, marriage counselor, and actor.
Akumaa is well-known for her intriguing, yet sexually exciting, methods of saying “Medaase” (Thank you).
Her unique ways of wearing her headwear also give her a distinct Akumaa brand. Little is known about Akumaa’s childhood, family, and educational background.
Her father is a police officer, and her spouse is a businessman to whom she has been married for almost thirty years.
