“If Shatta Wale rejoins VGMA, I will stop managing him and go into farming” – Bulldog claims

When it comes to difficulties surrounding Shatta Wale’s comeback to the VGMA, Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, nicknamed Bulldog, who now goes by the moniker Bullgod and Artiste Manager of one of Africa’s greatest dancehall artists, Shatta Wale, is not holding back.

If Shatta Wale decides to rejoin the renowned Vodafone Ghana Music Award program, he has stated that he would resign as Shatta’s manager.

A furious altercation erupted between Shatta Wale and his teammate Stonebwoy during the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, with the latter drawing a gun to discourage his assailants. As a consequence, the two were banned from competing in the award program.

They were taken to court after the intense battle, and they were also banned from competing in the reward system for an indeterminate period of time.

The prohibition was overturned after several requests from stakeholders, but the two artists refused to participate in this year’s prize program and instead focused on their individual projects.

Bullgod, who appeared as a guest on United Showbiz on UTV, stated that if Shatta decides to return to the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, he will quit managing Shatta Wale and will instead pursue a farming career instead.

His opinion is that the artist Shatta Wale is a tremendous brand that will do just well whether or not the award program is in place. He further claimed that if Shatta returns to the reward program, he will revert to farming.
