Starboy Ahmed, a young Nigerian rapper who was promised N10 million by Wizkid in 2017, has leveled damning allegations against the singer.
Wizkid was wooed about four years ago during one of his concerts by a young man in the audience who was singing his songs word for word.
He invited the child on stage, and he delivered an outstanding performance, forcing Wizkid to make promises to meet his needs.
Wizkid promised to pay Ahmed N10 million and sign him to his record label.
Ahmed was enrolled in a school, according to the Grammy winner, in 2018. On his Twitter feed, he wrote, “Education first.”
However, Ahmed has claimed that Wizkid abandoned him after promising to take care of him and using him to gain public love.
Several self-recorded videos of the young man show him claiming that he never received the money Wizkid promised him and that he was not signed to his record label.
Ahmed revealed in a new social media post that Wizkid has refused to fund his education and that he has been kicked out of school for failing to pay his fees.
Since the singer abandoned him, Ahmed has returned to the streets to continue his “hustle” for assistance.
