Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, outgoing Member of Parliament for the good people of Assin Central and aspiring Presidential Candidate on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party, NPP, has confirmed his commitment to running for President to the end.
In a private meeting with a portion of his delegates, the outspoken politician and businessman stated unequivocally that he is “not going to step down for anybody.”
According to him, the race will go to the wire, and the best man will win.
He witnessed instances at the recently conducted super delegate conference that sparked controversy, such as when several of his polling agents were chased out of the premises.
Kennedy Agyapong has appealed for the party’s unity as it prepares for the Presidential and Parliamentary primaries in November 2023.
