Kuami Eugene, a multiple award-winning Ghanaian artist, has responded to nine-year-old performer Fotocopy’s recent remark about refusing to do a single with the young child.
Fotocopy previously stated on Bryt TV that he wanted to feature Kuami Eugene on a single, but the ‘Angela’ hitmaker declined his proposal.
Fotocopy’s poor figures, according to Kuami, were cited as a cause for denying the function.
The child claimed he couldn’t eat for a week as a result of Kuami’s alleged reaction to him. He went on to say that this made him hate Kuami Eugene.
Shatta Wale’s appearance on the single ‘School Dey Bee’ soothed Fotocopy’s anguish and sadness, he said.
Kuami Eugene, however, stated on Joy Prime TV’s Prime Morning on Thursday, March 30, 2023, that he did not utter anything negative to the child.
“We took pictures and all. There is a video there, I was vibing with the boy. Do you think I would say such a thing to this young boy, hurt him so bad and still take pictures with him?” he asked.
The Lynx Entertainment and Empire Music signee described the event, saying he encountered Fotocopy and his father Qwaachi at Richie Mensah’s mother’s home in Osu.
When they asked for the functionality, he informed them they needed to address it officially with his management.
“And I said it doesn’t work like that because I am from Fadama. I left the hood and I have over 50 boys that are left in the hood. I can pinpoint and name all of them, if I say I am featuring all of everyone, trust me, the career will end, wey we all we nogo benefit like that from am,” he told Roselyn Felli and KMJ on Prime Morning.
