Joyce Boakye, a popular Kumawood actress, has spoken out about a “frivolous” allegation leveled against her a few months ago.
It may be recalled that the actress was accused a month ago by TV presenter Mona Gucci of stealing some scented candles from Nana Aba Anamoah’s birthday party.
Although the actress denied the allegations in a delayed interview, there is another side to the story that she did not share.
The actress has finally spoken out about what happened to her mother after that heinous accusation was leveled against her.
Joyce Boakye stated that her mother became ill after learning that she had stolen candles from a birthday party.
She went on to say that some of these situations are the reasons she doesn’t let people lie about her and get away with it.
She revealed the details in an interview with celebrity and lifestyle blogger Zion Felix.
