A man with a hairy chest was always at the top of Celestine Donkor’s list of ideal partners, but she ended up with the complete opposite.
Although that was her choice, Celestine Donkor revealed that she received the opposite in the book “Beyond the Rhythm,” which she co-authored with her husband Kofi Donkor.
Celestine reveals that after she described her dream man to her husband, he started making efforts to dress the part for her.
“I told him I wanted someone I could confidently go to places with. Someone with a hairy chest. Laughs! I wanted my ideal man. But guess what? My man has zero hair so he resorted to buying a hair growth cream and began applying it religiously to grow his chest,” she disclosed in the book.
“I laugh when I think about it even till today. All the same, more importantly, I was on fire for God and I had matured so much in Him that meeting someone like my husband who was that interested in my spiritual welfare and growth meant everything to me. That was the biggest attraction for me,” she added.
“Beyond the Rhythm” tells the story of how Celestine and Kofi Donkor’s paths crossed to become husband and wife and their eventual journey in the music ministry for 15 years and counting.
