I want to see my son’s body – Mother of late officer Kwaku Nyame involved in the bullion van robbery cries in new video
The mother of late police officer Lance Corporal Stephen Kwaku Nyame, who was killed in connection with the bullion van robberies, has declared her desire to see her son’s body.
According to the mother, Vida Fosu, and other relatives, they have yet to see their beloved’s corpse and confirm that he is indeed dead.
The mother also stated that she cannot and will never believe that her son was an armed robber and was involved in the aforementioned bullion van robbery.
“I want to see him so that I will be fine,” she said on Angel FM’s Anopa Bofo Morning Show in Twi.
“He belongs to me, and they have destroyed him,” Madam Fosu said. They should give him back to me. I want him back, no matter how he appears.”
Meanwhile, the deceased officer’s girlfriend, identified only as Sedem, has denied claims that her boyfriend was an armed robber and engaged in the alleged nefarious activities being reported.
She did, however, say that some officers envied the fallen officer.
She told Kofi Adoma Nwanwani that those envious officers plotted to evict the late corporal from a place of abode given to him.
She described the incident, saying that a senior police officer had given him the house and had requested that they repair it for him, but the repairs were delayed.
According to Sedem, the delay forced Lance Cpl Nyame to renovate the house with his own money, and when he was finished, people began ‘eyeing’ the room.
“That place was a chop box, and even if they dashed it to you, you wouldn’t accept it, but after he made it look good, everyone wanted it all for themselves,” she explained in Twi.
She also stated that the police only confirmed Officer Stephen Nyame’s death to them a week after the incident, but she has yet to see the body.
