Barbara Naa Nyarko, also known as OV, has revealed the odd circumstances surrounding her brother’s death, a situation from which she is still reeling.
She cited the development as a catalyst for her mental health issues in an interview with Angel FM.
OV described what happened on that holy day in dramatic detail, saying she had completed cooking dinner, served her brother’s food, and walked into his room to call him but found him in a peculiar state.
OV stated that her brother suddenly lay rigid and motionless in bed.
“I went into his room in the morning and invited him to come and eat. When I entered his room, I found him motionless and rigid. I was initially perplexed because I had no idea what it was. I’d never seen a dead body before. I wondered what this was when I turned him, and he felt hard and hefty.
“I went into my room and asked myself many questions.” I walked outside and splashed water on him, but nothing occurred. He weighed a lot. Then I went outside to seek assistance because it was just me at home. We were living in Adukrom at the time. “Because our house was on the outskirts of town, it was extremely difficult to get help,” she explained.
OV stated that she did everything she could to hide her pain, including keeping herself occupied with music, shows, and other activities.
She claimed that she had not shed a single tear in years until her career fell and she became less occupied.
