Tracy Owusu Addo, also known as Tracy Sarkcess, Sarkodie’s wife, has said that she nearly succeeded in persuading her husband to hang up the mike and get a real job.
Tracy claims that she once tried to convince Sarkodie to pursue a different career path since she realized that a music career was a lost cause. However, he would not budge from his stance.
This information was divulged by her during a discussion with Berla Mundi on “The Day Show.” During the course of the conversation, Tracy discussed the circumstances around how she and Sarkodie originally began dating.
She provided evidence that some of the things he’d mentioned about their history were true, including the fact that they had known each other since childhood and had lived in the same neighborhood.
She claimed that Sarkodie had loved her for a long time but had been unable to show it until she traveled outside of the country to Germany.
Tracy stated that they began dating after she moved back to Ghana and they were able to get in touch again. She admitted that the reason she remained with Sarkodie through the ups and downs of their relationship was because she believed he was a guy with a mission.
