Captain Smart, a popular Ghanaian journalist, and media personality, revealed this morning on the Onua Maakye show on Onua TV that he has warned his family not to turn on the television on Sundays in his house.
He added that because of that rule in his house, even though yesterday was Independence Day, his eldest son Blessing had to watch the ceremony on his tablet, which he didn’t mind.
According to Captain Smart, there should be a day when people should stay away from television and think about their personal growth and how to develop, and the reason he was okay with his son watching the ceremony on his phone, unlike television, he will learn something new as he browses the internet.
He stated that he even joined him in watching the marching and that the comments on the video made him realize that the Independence Day celebrations had been reduced to only marching.
