I Have Sold My Privacy – Actress Jackie Appiah Reveals
Jackie Appiah, an award-winning actress, has revealed that the public’s interest in her personal life is entirely her fault.
Jackie claims she sold her privacy to the public and has no control over it. Being a celebrity or a public figure costs a lot of money and comes with a lot of negative consequences.
This is due to the fact that every public figure’s activities are made public.
According to the Canadian-born Ghanaian actress, she has realized that her privacy has been sold out to the public because of the activists or the things she does that are mostly in the public eye or even brought out by either bloggers or some close friends before she realizes.
Jackie Appiah discussed how she deals with being a celebrity and how she protects her privacy on GTV’s Breakfast show on April 28th.
“It is not an easy task, it is extremely difficult,” she said. I’ve sold my privacy, so I can’t do what a normal person would do. For example, yesterday while driving, someone crossed me; I wanted to insult the person, asking what kind of driving that is, but I couldn’t. You must always be on the lookout for trouble, and I always keep to myself and mind my own business.”
