A remark made by Kumawood actor Agya Koo at the inauguration of his station on 2CTV in February last year sparked rumors that he and fellow actor Lilwin were feuding.
Agya Koo, also known as Kofi Adu, was a key figure in the development of the Kumawood film industry. He was quoted as saying that the current crop of local actors, including Lilwin, were not in his acting class.
He explained that Kumawood was dying because no one had seen his type before, and he was now the’missing component’ in the business.
In the midst of suspicions that Agya Koo and Lilwin are feuding, the latter tweeted:
“Agya Koo is truly a Legend and a Hero, Am not his Co equal…God bless you, you pave way for us… Kudos King Kong… am Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win”.
That tweet was insufficient to persuade fans that the two outstanding actors were not feuding.
In the midst of his feud with Lilwin, the veteran actor has finally spoken up. He claims to have no quarrel with Lilwin or Kweku Manu.
People worry about such rumors since they have favorite actors, but Agya Koo indicated that he is fine with both actors behind the scenes.
Agya Koo also spoke about the Kumawood industry and how he was pressured to appear naked in the film “Okomfo Anokye,” which he declined.
