“I am worth over $10 billion, but i am no longer interested in buying Chelsea”- Chairman Wontumi
Bernard Antwi Boasiako nicknamed Chairman Wontumi, a Ghanaian businessman, has revealed his net worth.
The proprietor of the Wontumi Group of Companies revealed that he is worth around ten billion dollars.
Following news that Chelsea Football Club was for sale, he expressed interest in purchasing the club.
He made his bid, which was well publicized.
Chairman Wontumi is making a U-Turn after generating headlines both in Ghana and internationally.
He wasn’t specific about backing out of the Chelsea purchase, but he did point out some anti-Chelsea propaganda.
Chairman Wontumi bemoaned the fact that people in Ghana and Africa do not appreciate themselves.
He emphasized that this step will give Ghana and Africa a face, and that he is looking forward to collaborating with other businesspeople.
