In his first interview since taking a break, Nigerian sensation Davido verified he is legally married.
The millionaire’s son has finally settled down with his third baby’s mother, Chioma, after having four children with four separate women.
The announcement comes months after rumors circulated that he was forced to conduct marriage rituals in order to mourn their late son, Ifeanyi.
Davido stated in an interview with comic Kie Kie that he took six months off to think about his life, work, and everything that happened to him in a brief amount of time.
During that time, he stated that he felt compelled to marry Chioma, whom he had openly proclaimed his affection for and guaranteed her since 2018.
“I’m married,” he said while flashing his silver ring.
According to him, when they were grieving his son, they went to an island, just the two of them, to calm their minds.
Davido, now 30, expressed optimism that the caring future he envisioned will come true.
Davido and Chioma Rowland became a celebrity couple in 2017 after being photographed together.
They made their partnership official in 2018 with the single ‘Assurance,’ after which Davido stunned her with a band and a Porsche vehicle.
Five years later, Chioma is no longer a Rowland, but the Adeleke family’s newest in-law.
