Diana Asamoah, a Ghanaian Gospel singer, has revealed the reasons behind her apparent transformation into a modern-day slay queen.
Previously, the evangelist had condemned the wearing of makeup, wigs, trousers, and high heels, among other things, as “demonic” elements. She claimed that any woman who wears these items will miss heaven because doing so as a Christian is an abomination.
But she is now neck-deep in everything she has outright spoken out against in the past, which has earned her a backlash from critics who see her as a hypocrite for misleading her followers.
Diana Asamoah stated in a new video that being a Christian does not require her to dress poorly or appear unkempt. She stated that her new appearance, which has caused some people to criticize her, should not be used to dismiss the essence of her Christianity.
She did not mince words when she stated that she will “slay for Christ,” implying that any Christian woman who relaxes her guard risks losing her husband to other women.
She explained that dressing in full-length robes, covering their hair with veils, and speaking in different tongues does not make one more spiritual than others.
