Members of the Ghana Artiste Look-Alike Association, including King Promise, Medikal, Kuami Eugene, and Mr. Drew, have expressed their frustrations over the lack of financial support from investors.
In an interview with blogger and journalist Attractive Mustapha, they revealed that despite receiving minimal transportation allowances for their appearances, they have not experienced significant financial gains from their look-alike business.
They are now actively seeking financiers and a management group to assist them in their artistic pursuits. The group emphasized that while they are no longer actively involved in the look-alike industry, it remains an integral part of their identity.
They are currently focused on releasing their own music, including an album, EP, and single projects.
“ For now we have our song out and we are planning to release an album, an EP, and single projects so that’s where our focus is, “ they said.
