On the morning of July 30, 2021, many Ghanaians on social media awoke to a trend on Twitter about a little kid called Oswald who sent a letter requesting a slew of goods for his school’s ‘Our Day’ celebration.
As previously reported, the child encourages his mother to “read every little word” in a letter dated July 29, 2021 and headed ‘Things to Bring on Our Day.’ Since the letter went viral, a number of businesses have chosen to step in and provide some accommodations for the child in order to assist his mother in meeting his request.
At the time of writing, more than 50 businesses in Ghana have already joined the trend by promising to send packages for the boy’s ‘Our Day’ celebration.
