we thought we have seen it all until we chanced on these horrifying photos of a piglet.
the photos as we sighted is a big who has given birth to a ‘human-piglet,
as in the piglet looks and have the features of a human being.
the photos have generated lots of controversies on social media, as people claim the owner slept with the pig.
but according to a senior lecturer in Pretoria, it is not possible for humans to crossbreed with pigs.
the lecturers explained;
“In genetic terms, each species has a unique number of chromosomes,” she explained. “Some species, such as horses and donkeys, are related and have very similar chromosome numbers (62 versus 64), and thus can breed and produce live offspring.
“However, humans have 46 chromosomes, while pigs have a total of 38. Given this, it is impossible for these species to even produce a viable embryo or fetus, let alone offspring”.
