Here Is Why Guinness World Record Is Delaying In Hilda Baci’s Recognition
Hilda Effiong Bassey, a 27-year-old chef from Nigeria, recently attempted to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cook-a-thon. The previous record was held by Lata Tondon, who cooked for over 87 hours and 45 minutes in 2019.
Hilda’s attempt at breaking the record has gained a lot of attention on social media, with many people congratulating her on her achievement. However, Guinness World Records has not yet confirmed her record as official.
When a Twitter user named @AlexanderDgreat asked why Guinness World Records wasn’t talking about Hilda’s record, the organization responded by saying that they are aware of her attempt but need to review all the evidence before confirming it as a record.
In other words, Hilda has not officially broken the Guinness World Record yet. She will have to wait for the organization to review all the evidence before she can claim the title.
Regardless of whether or not she breaks the record, Hilda’s attempt is still an impressive feat and shows her dedication to her craft.
“We’re aware of this amazing record attempt, we need to review all the evidence first before officially confirming a record.”
