Agya Koo, the well-known Ghanaian actor, and comedian, has addressed the claims of an elderly man who purports to be his father.
The man in question, Mr. Kwasi Bediako, recently revealed in a social media interview that he is Agya Koo’s biological father.
According to Bediako, he had a romantic relationship with Agya Koo’s mother in the early 1960s at the now-closed Meridian Hotel in Tema, which led to the actor’s conception and birth.
“I only heard that she had given birth and named him Kofi Adu, only for me to see him on television as Agya Koo. I just knew that he was my son because of certain characteristics and traits he exhibits,” he said
The 53-year-old actor, Agya Koo, has refuted accusations made against him by a man during an interview with Radio Universe.
“Heed not to him, he is lying. I will soon address the public properly, I know him from nowhere. It is an orchestration by some people” Agya Koo said.
He has criticized the presenter for allowing such false claims to be made. This is not the first time Agya Koo has faced such allegations, as he previously denied a woman’s claim that she was his biological mother on a radio station in the Ashanti region.
