Mona Faiz Montrage, also known as Hajia4real, a Ghanaian rapper, has posted a lovely video of her father and herself as a youngster.
In this day and age of skin lightening and cosmetic surgery to improve one’s appearance, the video reveals that the soprano is as natural as nature intended.
Fans flooded the comments section with praise for her father’s simplicity, with many remarking on how he resembles the late ex-president JJ Rawlings.
Mona4reall, Hajia4reall’s stage name, was born in Tamale to a Lebanese father and a Ghanaian mother. She decided to post before and after photos of herself with her father that were taken several years apart.
Her father was wearing a blue and white striped smock with stylish sunglasses concealing his face in the first video, which was posted 22 years ago. Mona stood at his side, a bashful grin on her face and a firm grip on his hand thrown over her shoulder.
The much recent picture shows them both all grown up, with her father sporting a thick snow-white beard and Mona in a flowy flowery dress.
