A wedding day is supposed to be a happy occasion, but for one Nigerian couple, it turned into a disaster. The bride slapped her mother-in-law in front of everyone, including both families.
This caused the groom to call off the wedding and file for divorce.
According to Ibrahim Kazeem, who shared the story on Twitter, the mother-in-law slapped the bride for an unknown reason. The bride, in turn, slapped her back out of anger.
This caused a huge scene and ruined the wedding.
Slapping someone, especially a family member, is never okay.
It’s important to control your emotions and handle conflicts in a calm and respectful manner. Violence only leads to more problems and can cause irreparable damage to relationships.
The groom was understandably upset and decided to end the relationship.
It’s important to remember that actions have consequences, and in this case, the bride’s actions led to the end of her marriage before it even began.

Please don't even mention why would the MIL slapped her first. It's wrong but what if her mother slapped her? Would she have returned it?
I love that the husband initiated divorce proceedings immediately.
