Celestine Donkor, a famous gospel singer from Ghana, is on her way to the River Jordan, which is one of the holiest places for Christians.
The Jordan River, as it is often known, is where John the Baptist is said to have baptized Jesus Christ when he was 30 years old and ready to begin his ministry.
For Celestine, the goal of her voyage is to bring her closer to God and perhaps have another contact with the Holy Spirit.
After she got out of the Jordan River, she posted a short statement online in which she said that the experience was hard to explain.
The singer of “Agbelolo” then prayed for people who were having different kinds of problems and asked others to send in their own prayer requests so that God could help them.
She penned something in the video’s caption.
‘MY JORDAN ENCOUNTER IN ISREAL: Words fail me to describe how I felt on the Jordan River. (Where Jesus was baptized and the Spirit came on him like a dove) In Jesus name I send you all this joy, love healing and freedom I am feeling right now. DROP YOUR PRAYER REGUESTS IN COMMENT SESSION.’
