Mrs. Oromoni, the mother of Sylvester Oromoni, the 12-year-old boy who died after being bullied at the Dowen College, Lagos, has wept as she curses those responsible for burying the truth about her son’s death.
Emotionally distraught, the mother begged God to punish people who had lied about what caused her son’s death in a new video that has gone viral a few days after an autopsy was conducted on the corpse of her beloved son.
The House Master and other students arrested for the suspected murder were cleared in the report. For this reason, the three suspects who had been held for more than three weeks at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department were freed on bail last Thursday.
In a letter to the police and the court hearing the case, the state’s Director of Public Prosecutions stated that the postmortem results did not indicate that Sylvester was murdered.
Sylvester was said to have died of chemical poisoning according to his family. However, this was also debunked by the DPP who said the toxicology result did not find any harmful substance in late Oromoni’s body.
A video of Mrs. Oromoni’s emotional reaction after the court hearing has surfaced online and she was visibly overcome with grief. The grieving mother prayed to God to take the lives of those responsible for the loss of her son.
