Popular Ghanaian actor Joseph Nana Osei Kofi, also known in showbiz as Wayoosi, has asked God for forgiveness for what he describes as a despicable act that he would never dare to repeat in his life.
In an exclusive interview on the ‘Hammer Time’ entertainment program about the dwindling Ghanaian movie industry, Wayoosi revealed in a shocking revelation and remorse that he asks God for forgiveness every day for having affairs with ladies who wanted movie roles.
He stated that it is an act he deeply regrets and would not repeat if given the opportunity to make amends.
He also stated that the Ghanaian film industry failed to thrive because actors were not well compensated, as he was paid GHC10 to GHC50 for some roles he played, including his popular ‘Ma tricky wo’ film.
