Acclaimed Ghanaian director Ola Michael has voiced what he thinks to be the harsh reality.
Speaking on the difficulties the film business has had in recent years, Ola Michael said that if caution is not exercised, the problems may not be resolved anytime soon.
He applauded the likes of Dr. Likee for their efforts to save the industry, which had almost perished because of the skits they had been making in recent months.
Despite congratulating Dr. Likee and the others, the Neat FM midmorning program presenter was quick to add that if caution is not used, skit audience in the nation would quickly become tired of their skits
Ola Michael cited how the likes of Santo and Judas began some years ago before leaving the scene for Agya Koo to come and take over and do his thing until he became a household name, and eventually, how Agya Koo was left to hang out dry for the likes of Kwaku Manu and Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin to also become the face of the industry.
He stated that he had instructed Agya Koo and warned him to be cautious with how he handled his popularity and God-given talent since he has no official training in that sector to depend on, and he would do so again to Dr. Likee.
