Ghanaians express their dissatisfaction about the long queues for SIM card registration.
Long queues at several telecommunications carriers’ offices for the registration of subscriber identification modules (SIM) cards have made some Ghanaians lose their temper.
Ghanaians have turned to Twitter to express their dissatisfaction with images and videos released by the National Identification Authority (NIA) and telecommunications operator offices around the country.
The National Communication Authority (NCA) has mandated that SIM card registration begin on October 1, 2021, and terminate on March 31, 2022.
As of March 31, all mobile phone users who have not registered their SIM cards with a Ghana card will be terminated.
